Waterconference in New York

Water. We all need it. That’s why the UN General Assembly passed a resolution in 2018 to accelerate the implementation of SDG 6 and other water-related goals.

And now, after 46 years since the last UN water conference, a three-day multi-stakeholder event is taking place in New York on March 22-24, 2023, to address this critical issue. The Netherlands, together with Tajikistan, will chair this important conference, and with good reason. They are recognized as key players in the field of water management and will contribute to the conference’s success. It’s time to recognize the significance of water and take action to ensure its sustainable management. Because when we do, we can create healthy societies, resilient economies, and a thriving planet.
